Notes:
Pete Coates posing with a smokestack he helped install atop the Nakusp & District Chamber of Commerce visitor centre, 92 6th Avenue NW, Nakusp, August 1987. Coates took a smokestack from an old tugboat, repaired it, and installed it. The smokestack would be used in conjunction with the whistle of the SS Minto mounted atop the visitor centre to be blown every noon. Photo by Milton Parent, Arrow Lakes Historical Society.
