Castlegar residents and former Nakuspians Bob Pakula (left), Jeanette Pakula (centre), and Cory Schafthuizen (right) in costume at the ceremonial return of the SS Minto whistle to Nakusp, Nakusp Launch Club marina, 26 June 1986. All three had been former employees at the Celgar Big Bend sawmill in Nakusp and then transferred to Castlegar, where the Minto whistle was used to announce shift changes.
