Arrow Lakes Historical Society Milton Parent making a speech accepting the original whistle of the SS Minto, Nakusp Launch Club marina, 26 June 1986. The Minto whistle was donated by Westar Timber, parent of Celgar, which had used the whistle to announce shift changes at its mills in Nakusp and then Castlegar.
