Former Celgar Big Bend mill employees Cory Schafthuizen (left), Bob Pakula, and Jeanette Pakula stand in costume atop the Celgar tug Captain G.O. Sutherland during the ceremonial return of the whistle of the SS Minto to Nakusp, Upper Arrow Lake, 26 June 1986. After having been in use at the Celgar mills in Nakusp and then Castlegar following the 1954 retirement of the Minto, the whistle would be now installed at the new Nakusp visitor centre.
