Original Canadian Pacific (Nakusp & Slocan) Railway station agent residence, ca. 1893, Bay Street, Nakusp. Notes on matte: 'House which was built for the superintendent when the railroad was built from Nakusp to Three Forks. Divisional headquarters were established in Nelson and the station agent got the house. Nakusp, B.C.' Notes from Milton Parent: 'CPR. Location - Bay St. 1893. Builder, Info - Built for CPR to house their station agent. Subowners - Sid Leary, Dan Berard. Torn down 1953.' Further notes: 'Edward (station agent, Nakusp) house. Later Berard's. Originally built for superintendent while railway was being built from Nakusp to Three Forks.'
