John Nelson Jr and 3 others posing with dog in Nakusp. Inscription on rear, "Captain John Nelson at Nakusp Sept 29th 1961. Speaker at public hearing against the proposed High Arrow Dam which would destroy our ranch home at Galena Bay. I'm wearing spectacles. Nakusp town is 37 miles south of here and we went by Walter's car starting at 5am & returning 8:30pm. Public road skirts the lakeshore. The children are Henry's wife's sister's family. Sent Feb 1965"
