Inscription on rear: 'The SS Bonnington was built at Nakusp in 1911 and plied the Arrow Lakes for the CPR until 1931, It had a gross tonnage of 1663 and measured 203 feet by 39 feet. It had a large superstructure with upper and lower cabin decks, texas and wheelhouse. the high superstructure was a disadvantage for navigation in high winds.
