Paul Anders (left) and Annie Anders (nee Sarah Anne Kirby, right) posing in front of their log home 4 miles north of Needles, winter, ca. 1910s-1920s. Attached notes: 'Sarah Anne — Born in Yorkshire, England. Her father is William Kirby/Her mother was Eliza Kirby. Annie Kirby married James Lindsay of Scotland, and had 3 children. They were Jim, Emily, Fred. Annie's husband James died. She married Paul Anders — no children. This cabin was 4 miles north of Needles on the Edgewood side of the lake, near the lakeshore. He had a lovely fruit orchard. Mr. & Mrs. George Craft lived across the ravine from them.'
