Yard of Lewis Edwards, southeast edge of Nakusp at Rothwell Point, ca. 1916. Highway to Burton (future Highway 6) at left along shore of Rothwell Bay, Upper Arrow Lake. Notes: 'The cherub of birches still stands'. Leary family (Sid Leary & Florence Leary) purchased the house, ca. late 1930s. House later went to Florence's brother Ron Jordan and was moved into Nakusp townsite in 1968 in advance of flooding of the Arrow Lakes.
