Notes:
Debris from avalanche in Sandon's upper gulch on 24 February 1937. The slide destroyed the Stewart family house. The Stewarts' granddaughter, Evelyn Stewart, age 6, perished in the avalanche and was found against a chair where the dining room had been. Notes on rear: 'Looking up the Stewart slide. Remains of the Stewart kitchen seen on the left in which where[sic] the Stewart women when the slide struck.'
