: Ruins of Columbia River Shake & Shingle mill, Kuskanax delta, Nakusp, smouldering after fire on 16 August 1973. The fire began in the beehive burner and engulfed between 15 and 20 acres, destroying CRSS and the neighbouring B.J. Carney poleyard.
