: Headstone, grave of Sadie McNeil (born 5 August 1876, died 1 August 1897), Catholic Cemetery, Nakusp Downtown Cemeteries, April 1992. McNeil passed away giving birth to her daughter, also named Sadie McNeil, who died the following month. James McNeil purchased a lot at the west end of Broadway Street as a burial place for his wife and daughter, creating the modern Catholic Cemetery in Nakusp.
