Notes from Jack Harris: 'The high water 1948 apparently undermined road, and in a month or more later this happened. Trailer wheels sunk on one side. For some reason the "king pin" attaching truck to trailer did not "pull" and also king pin holding bunk to truck. So truck rolled. Still intact. The truck did not even get scratched. Even the cat was 4' or 5' off the ground. Bill Hampton, right.'
