Notes from Milton Parent: 'Tug Procter and also town Procter named for T.G. Procter mgr. of Kootenay Valley Landowners & Speculators. She was built in Nelson 1900. Engines from the burnt tug Kaslo. It was shipped to Trout Lake in 1904 & was under the command of Capt. Fitzsimmons, It took 31 passengers. Was 65' long. 14'4" beam. C.P.R. discontinued service in 1917. Was leased to a private co. 'til July 1919 then sold to Ludwig Brass for $1500. With barge.'
