Inscription on rear: '1897-1910. 1899 planted orchard. Frederick George Fauquier. Mr Fauquier died 1917 & was buried beside his wife in Nakusp. Mrs Fauquier died in a nursing home in Vancouver after Mr Fauquiers death. Fauquier 40 miles south of Nakusp'. Image from holdings of Needles Elementary High School.
