Inscription on rear: 'Mica Dam, the last of the three Columbia Treaty projects to be completed, is the only treaty dam in Canada with generation at site. Huge underground powerhouse on west abutment on left of picture presently has four generating units in service with an installed capacity of 1.736 million kilowatts. Two additional units will be installed later for an ultimate generating capacity of 2.604 million kilowatts.'
