Note proper spelling of 'Dougal'. Notes from Milton Parent: 'Dougal, Capt. Location - Slocan Ave. 204 4th Ave. NW, Lots 9-10, Blk 21. Builder, info - ? Not known who owned this house first. Sub owners - McKissocks were in this house in 1902. Dougals came to Nakusp in 1906, in then. Note: Dougal also was given Crown grant of lot 8569 in 1909. Others were Waterfield, Picard, Hornes, Forniers, Sid Leary, Slatrom to 1946, Hempseed, Yano.'
