: An arch used for logging and several tires are seen lying in a large sinkhole that formed under the Kal Tire building (211 4th Avenue NW, Nakusp) on 19 August 1977, as seen on 25 August 1977 at 11 am. The remaining portion of the building would be demolished and the business relocated to 95 6th Avenue NW the following year.
