: Man posing atop gold flume, Trout Lake, ca. early 20th century. Notes: 'Looking up stream in November. Otto is the visitor. The intake of flume is at Right of snap. 16 feet wide and 3 feet deep. Part of the dam was built last Spring or it would not be there. The water behind the sluice box is in a big crevice. We took 11 ounces from it.'
