The Arrow Lakes Historical Society, thanks to the local community and the CBT, have recently purchased a terminal that allows us to accept card payments.
With most of the grants in the province geared towards projects, selling our books on local history fills a large void when it comes to paying for our day-to-day operational costs. The convenience to customers of card payments at the farmer’s markets and other events will have a marked impact on the ALHS’s ability to continue to preserve our local history.
We are grateful to everyone who came out and showed support at the CBT REDI Grant Voting.
