Nakusp mascot Captain Minto is at centre; Arrow Lakes Historical Society president Milton Parent is at right. The Celgar tug Captain G.O. Sutherland, which brought the whistle from Castlegar, is in the background. After having been in use at Westar Timber's Celgar mill in Castlegar, the whistle would be installed at the new Nakusp visitor centre.
