Antique safe made by J. & J. Taylor Safe Works of Toronto, Bank of British Columbia building, Sandon, 1972. Notes: 'This big walk-in vault was built in 1900 for the Bank of British Columbia (after the 1900 fire) in the west side of Johnny Harris' Virginia Block (office building). The vault was demolished in about 1979 by brick salvagers. The roof of the Viriginia Block caved in Easter of 1972.'
