Helicopter Igor flown by pilot John Rolls carrying power poles to be installed in forest between New Denver and Silverton by BC Hydro, 7 September 1982. Accompanying caption from Arrow Lakes News: 'John Rolls at the helm of Igor lifted 10 power poles into place between New Denver and Silverton on Tuesday as B.C. Hydro upgraded the line between the towns. The helicopter was used because the sidehill made it difficult for line truck or backhoe installation. the commotion of the big helicopter working at the edge of town brought out many local people to see the event.'
