Caption on back: 'The ultimate in tranquility and relaxation is only 8 miles away for residents of Nakusp. However, the beautiful crystal clear water of the Nakusp Hot Springs and thousands visit here every year from around the world. The springs feature a hot pool at 44C (112F) and a larger cooler pool at 39C (105F). There are camping facilities and chalets available. Horseback riding is very popular and cross-country skiing is featured in winter.'
