Celgar Woods Division (Columbia Cellulose Company Ltd.) building being moved to new location in advance of flooding to be created by Hugh Keenleyside Dam, Rothwell Point, Nakusp, 7 September 1968. Photo published in 17 September 1968 edition of Nelson Daily News. Caption: 'Biggest move to date on the Arrow Lakes was successfully completed at Nakusp when the office and administrative building of Celgar Woods Division, Columbia Cellulose Company Ltd., was moved to a new location above the reservoir level. The two-storey, 175-ton building was moved from its lakefront location across Highway 6, up a 200-yard-long incline, and set on a new foundation. Not a single pane of glass was cracked in the move. The job was handled by Apex Building Mover Ltd. of Burnaby.' Photo by S.G. Dahl
