Caption from Nelson Daily News: 'New Fauquier - This community on the Arrow Lakes is thought to have one of the highest levels of night time illumination of any community of its size in B.C. Along its frontage road and second road are installed 18 of the most modern type 400-watt mercury vapor street lighting fiztures. Elsewhere in the residential area are fixtures of the conventional overhead, pole type. Three B.C. Hydro maintenance crew are seen replacing lightbulbs.'
