Galena Contractors driller Fred Pigott (left), Department of Highways foreman Norm McRae (centre), and Galena Contractors truck driver Ed Bordula (right) conversing after a slide from a gravel pit near Dinner Creek fell onto Hot Springs Road as Bordula and Pigott were driving to a work site, 28 March 1978. The operators were unharmed but their vehicles were partially buried and had to be dug out.
