Caption from 26 April 1978 edition of the Arrow Lakes News: 'Work begun Monday for the new church for the Seventh Day Adventist church group in Nakusp. The new church will be built on lots adjacent to the old Kal Tire Shop location. Building construction is scheduled to start early next month.'
