Caption from 21 September 1983 edition of Arrow Lakes News: 'Two drilling rigs are working on Tillicum mountain just below Sandy's Adit just to the upper left of this picture. Assays from the latest drill holes are expected to be announced next week but geologists are encouraged at the visible drill core samples which indicate that the rich gold bearing zone extends much further than originally expected.'
