Andy Craig's team of horses ploughing snow at Trout Lake, ca. turn of 1910s. Plough driver Chummy Johnson with young Andy Craig and McPherson children standing on plough at left. Notes from Andy Craig Jr.: '8 horses for wide road plowing. Notice snow and rain shields Andy Sr. made to protect the padding (keep it dry) on the collars. Burned off hill in background was called 'Tiger Lily Hill'. One of the first outing of the spring was across the brewery bridge with mother to pick the flowers. In the fall they would pick blueberries & huckleberries.'
