Tug Yale sunk in Upper Arrow Lake at Beaton wharf in winter, early 1929. Notes from Milt Parent: 'Yale tug. Was finished - and just parked there since June 1928. Winter of 1929 sank and pulled corner of boathouse down into water. Selby Soules awoke to find his bedroom half full of water. Boat was later pulled out into slightly deeper water and left. Machinery & boiler, etc., were left in her.'.
