House made from CPR timbers. Sub owners - Chris Jr. Bob Hamling, Chris Jr.'s son. Chris Sr. moved to town and Jr. took over the farm.' Chris Sr. moved to Nelson Avenue, Nakusp, in 1929 and purchased 3.5 acres that is now subdivided; that house is now Dawn Devlin (220D Government Hill Rd).
