Tug Vantoria on drydock at Nakusp shipyard, c. 1927. Associated newspaper clip from Arrow Lakes News, October 1927: 'The White Pine Lumber Co. tug "Vantoria" brought in the bay on Wednesday a relic of better times at the northern end of the lake. It was the car barge of the old Pingston Creek Lumber Co. which plied between the mill at Pingston and Arrowhead, conveying lumber to the CPR tracks at the latter point for shipment over the continent.'
