Postcard showing bird's-eye view of Trout Lake, taken summer 1966 by Ellis Anderson of Creston. Inscription on rear: 'Nestling deep in a narrow emerald valley, the calm waters of Trout Lake reflect the eternal snows of the Lardeau Range. This lake is noted throughout North America for its superb trout and majestic scenery. It is located deep in the heart of the primitive Lardeau Country, which in the early years of this century saw a great mining rush.'
